Guadalupe Virgin Mary, Fleece Sherpa Blanket

I created this blanket with the idea of comfort and protection. I wanted the Virgin of Guadalupe to feel close—like she is wrapping you in her arms.
The artwork was first hand-drawn and hand-painted by me using watercolors. I chose soft shades of blue because blue feels calm, peaceful, and safe to me. As I painted, I thought about moments when we need warmth, faith, and a sense of being cared for.
The blanket is large enough to cover a full person, making it perfect for resting, praying, or simply feeling comforted. It is soft, warm, and made to feel like a gentle embrace.
This piece comes from my personal experience as an artist and from my belief that art can bring peace, warmth, and love into everyday life.
